Backstory:

Born in the shadow-wreathed tunnels of Ashkaran, Ves was raised within a rogue sect of necro-mystics who believed death was the ultimate source of power. From a young age, she was trained to bind spirits, harvest echo-souls, and serve the will of ancestral rulers who were long dead but still influencing the living.

But as her skill deepened, Ves began to hear the ancestors differently. Not as conquerors — but as prisoners. They did not want to be channeled. They wanted release.

In secret, she began conducting forbidden rites to dismantle ancestral servitude, freeing one soul at a time. When she was caught, her sect attempted to soul-bind her to the bones of her own father.

She broke free using the same technique she would later perfect: Soul Sever. Since that day, she has wandered the realms with one purpose — to liberate what is held in fear’s grasp.

Signature Move:

She also uses “The Waking Dirge” — a ritualized chant that calls the dead who still cling to places of violence or despair, soothing their memory bodies so they can return to the Well of Origin. This is especially effective in war zones and corrupted grids.
