His fingers are always moving, even when still—subconsciously tapping invisible keys or tracing glyphs in the air. He wears a skin-adapted exo-fabric hoodie laced with programmable nanotech, layered with a loose turtleneck. His boots and utility belt are covered in sigils—half digital, half hand-carved into the leather, like a cyberpunk scribe. The glow of his wrist-holos illuminates coded mandalas across his forearms.

Backstory:

Ren was born on Aetheron, a hyper-intelligent Outworld where gifted children are farmed for cognitive labor by data lords and consciousness miners. His mind was genetically augmented for pattern recognition and rapid learning, but when he hacked into the archives of his own life file at age 14, he found records of soul experiments performed on his mother and the deletion of her memory-code.

He escaped using a consciousness transfer prototype he rebuilt from stolen schematics and has been on the run since. The Rebellion found him when he slipped a poetic encryption into Dominion broadcast frequencies, quoting a verse from the Rebels’ Manifesto in perfect harmonic code.

Core Wound:

Ren feels like a ghost in his own life. He mistrusts memory, fearing that everything he believes could be a fabricated narrative. He masks it with sarcasm and overachievement, but deep down he fears he may never feel truly real.
