Ashfall
Signature Move
"Smoulder Cloak" — Rev releases a slow-burning cloud of ash and mineral-charged vapor, distorting heat signatures and visual detection. Within this cloud, he and his team become phantoms, moving unseen through sensor grids and volatile combat zones.

Rev Talok
CODENAME:
Ashfall
Specialty:
Demolition, close-quarters infiltration, volcanic-tech weaponry, adaptive heat-signature cloaking
He wears armor made of pressure-tempered volcanic glass and mineral-fiber fabrics — adaptive, but scarred from countless missions. His gauntlets hold fragments of magma flora — explosive spore seeds he cultivates himself in a secret furnace-chamber.
His eyes are amber-gold, always scanning, always calculating. One is slightly clouded from a blast he didn’t quite outrun — he left the scar as a reminder.
Backkstory:
Rev grew up in the undercities of Thar-Korr, a broken world of ash storms, collapsing industry, and endless grey survival. Raised by his older brother in a gang-ruled zone, Rev learned early how to fight — and win. For years, he worked as an enforcer, protecting routes, people, and secrets in exchange for loyalty.
But it all changed when his brother died in a failed rebellion, sacrificed as a “necessary loss” by leaders who never fought themselves. Rev detonated the safehouse in grief and rage, then disappeared into the wilderness — believing he had no purpose outside destruction.
He was found years later by a wandering Flame 13 scout, not through intel, but through vibration. The scout described him as "the fire beneath the rubble that hadn't gone out." Whisper vouched for him, saying: "We need someone who knows how to blow a hole in the cage. And someone who knows what it’s like to be inside it."
Signature Move:
He also deploys "Pulse Bloom Spores" — a type of living explosive cultivated from volcanic flora, which respond to targeted emotional resonance. They only detonate when Rev wills it, allowing for precision sabotage without tech interference.
Core Wound:
Rev believes he is only useful when things are falling apart. He sees his strength as reactive — something forged by loss, pain, and survival. He struggles with stillness, with softness, with the idea that his value could exist before the violence, not just after it.
In moments of peace, he often grows restless, unconsciously waiting for the next thing to go wrong — as if his worth must be re-earned through fire.
Gift:
Rev carries a deep, quiet wisdom beneath his armor. He doesn’t just burn things — he knows how to read the bones of what remains. After the ash settles, he walks the wreckage and sees what could be rebuilt. He sees potential where others see ruins.
He teaches the others: “If you fear the fire, you’ll never see what lives in the ash. Some things need to burn. Not to end — but to begin.”
